In the Arlberg the saying goes, 'take your sweetheart to Zurs, take your friends to St Anton and take your family to Lech'. Lech certainly satisfies much of the criteria sought by parents looking for the perfect place to ski with the kids. Being situated just an hour and a half from Innsbruck and Friedrichshafen means a painless transfer so the kids arrive enthusiastic for their week in this winter wonderland. The Ski Schule - Lech is one of the highest regarded in Austria and indeed the Alps so you can rest assured the kids are in good hands whilst you enjoy the phenomenal amount of snow the resort receives each year. What-is-more, the ski area caters perfectly for all levels of skier but particularly for beginners and intermediates, meaning you can all find a route to suit you to one of the fantastic mountain restaurants that Lech is so famous for at lunchtime! 
 

However, we happen to think Lech is also a good choice of resorts to take your 'sweetheart'. It may be a popular destination for families but they only tend to ski over term holidays. Honeymooners also gravitate to the resort, drawn by its beautiful resort centre, dotted with traditional Tyronian chalets and pretty panoramas. Although few properties in Lech are available for rental, those that are will be the smartest in Austria and often with ski in, ski out access. The locals will also do everything in their power to leave you charmed and satisfied by your special time in this quintessentially Austrian resort.
